Local Status : Resident (SMP Status 3) Distribution and abundance : Local Habitats : Wet woodland, fens, grassland, heathland, scrub and gardens Flight Period : Single-brooded; September to May, hibernating over the winter, this seems in contrast to local data where peak abundance of records occur from June to August Larval foodplants : Water-pepper (Polygonum hyrdopiper), Redshank (Polygonum persicaria), Black Bindweed (Polygonum convolvulus), Common Sorrel (Rumex acetosa), Sheep''s Sorrel (Rumex acetosella), Broad-leaved Dock (Rumex obtusifolius), Water-dock (Rumex hydrolapathum) or Yellow Loosestrife (Lysimacha vulgaris) Morley's Final Catalogue : Not listed Wingspan details : Wingspan 10-11mm Identification
