Local Status : Resident (SMP Status 3) Distribution and abundance : Local Flight Period : Single-brooded, July to August Larval foodplants : poplars and Aspen (Populus) or willows (Salix), including Creeping Willow (Salix repens) Morley's Final Catalogue : On salix and Lombardy-poplars only here. Rare round Bentley, Ipswich, Felixstow, Blaxhall, rarely at light and sitting on willow-leaves at-Monks Soham in July, Orford, Aldeburgh, Leiston, Lowestoft; sitting commonly in Blundeston marshes and on Gorleston palings up to 16 September.
