Habitats : Where the foodplant occurs

Flight Period : Double-brooded; mid-May to June and July to early August

Larval foodplants : Great Willowherb (Epilobium hirsutum), Broad-leaved Willowherb (Epilobium montanum) or Marsh Willowherb (Epilobium palustre), in spun shoots

Final Catalogue : An abundant kind on the common Willowherb everywhere. Noted at Ipswich, Foxhall, Felixstow, freely at Monks Soham light, Hacheston, Leiston, Blythburgh Wood, Lowestoft. Frostenden 1936 (H. F. Allen).
