Morley's Final Catalogue : A downs species. Thetford Warren (Curtis); rare on Southwold beach in July and September 1910-2 (Mly: overlooked by Crutwell); common at Newmarket, in Suffolk, during 1910 (Nurse, Ent. 1911, 221). Sizewell in 1937 (Hawley).
