Morley's Final Catalogue : Morley did not differentiate between E. scutulana and E. cirsiana. Quite a frequent kind among thistles. Copdock, Bentley Woods in June, Trimley marshes, Staverton Thicks in August, Parham Wood in May, Aldeburgh, Leiston, Henham, Lowestoft, Ringsfield, Gorleston. Brandon in July, and Tuddenham.
Aston's Additions : Specimen at light at Stowmarket in August, 1948 which Mr. Wakely determined for me (Trans. XI, pt. II, p. 144). Confused in the 1937 Final Catalogue with 952.
