Local Status : Uncertain (SMP Status 4)

Habitats : Coniferous woodland

Flight Period : Single-brooded; late May to June

Larval foodplants : On the seeds in the cones of Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) and Corsican Pine (Pinus nigra)

Records : Thetford (A E Gibbs & M Betts, 1957), Rushmere (J Higgott,

Aston's Additions : I possess the rather cryptic note that this species was captured by a Mr. Gibb and a Miss Monica Betts in Thetford Chase during 1957, but I have lost the reference to the source of this information which was probably one of the Entomological journals, possibly the Entomologist's Monthly Magazine.
