Larval foodplants : Ash (Fraxinus excelsior), in the living bark

Morley's Final Catalogue : Stowmarket about 1860 (B); at light in Ipswich in 1901 (Pyett) and Bungay in July 1900 (Mn). Rarely in Monks Soham at light in August and September (Mly).

Wingspan details : Wingspan 23-28mm
