Morley's Final Catalogue :
Another early species, but a good deal more frequent than the last, with a broad distribution from Nayland on our southern border (Harwood), through Copdock in April (Hkg), Ipswich in 1902 (Platten) where it occurs rarely at lights by the Belstead-road in mid-April (Mly), Playford, Brandeston, Needham and Bury to West Stow. In the north-east it is observed only at the extremities of Lothingland, at Beccles (Crf) and Gorleston.
