Local Status : Resident (SMP Status 1) Distribution and abundance : Widespread and common Habitats : Woodland, heathland, scrub, grassland, fens and gardens Flight Period : Single-brooded; May to June, occasional years have a second generation in August Larval foodplants : Flowers and leaves of various broadleaved herbaceous and woody plants - found locally on sallows Morley's Final Catalogue : Certainly generally distributed and perhaps common, but little noticed. Rather rare about Ipswich (Mly, Baylis) ; Bentley Woods; Monks Soham light; frequent at Weston. Gorleston (D). Wingspan details : Forewing 10-12mm, Wingspan 17-21mm Identification
