Local Status : Resident (SMP Status 1) Distribution and abundance : Widespread and very common Habitats : Woodland, scrub, heathland, fens, hedgerows and gardens Flight Period : Double-brooded; March to May and July to August Larval foodplants : Blackthorn, Hawthorn, Hazel, birches, Alder, sallows and other woody broad-leaved plants Final Catalogue : Of very frequent occurrence everywhere from Bentley Woods to Gorleston; occasionally at Monks Soham light in both April and July.
