Local Status : Locally extinct (SMP Status 4) Habitats : Mature oak woodlands Flight Period : Single-brooded; late June to July Larval foodplants : Pedunculate oak Morley's Final Catalogue : Stowmarket before 1859 (Stainton, Man. ii, 157) ; several specimens at Bentley by Garrett and Miller (ante 1890), and one sitting on an oak-trunk there on 11 July 1902 (Mly); Flixton, Bungay (Toms). Five in Bentley Woods, 1937 (Gd). Wingspan details : Forewing 9-11mm, Wingspan 18-24mm Identification
