Local Status : Resident, primarily coastal (SMP Status 3) Habitats : Coastal rocky areas, open areas on chalky soil Flight Period : Single-brooded; July to August Larval foodplants : lichens on rocks, walls and sometimes trees Records : Inland records include Ringshall (A Toomey, vii.2004), Woolpit (P Bryant, 5 & 18.viii.2006) Morley's Final Catalogue : So extremely rare as to be most probably extinct. Recorded from Needham Market by the late Mr. Henry Lingwood, and presumably now in his collection at Bury Museum; and from Gorleston (Entom. 1879, p. 294). No later observations.
